BRIEF

A consumer brand partnered with ACC to run a lifestyle influencer marketing campaign on Instagram in the US market — targeting home, patio, DIY and family creators to launch a smart cooling product ahead of peak summer demand.

The brief called for 50 creator posts within a tight seasonal window, with strong view targets. The core risk: a functional home appliance that could easily read as a generic product ad — and lose audiences before the summer opportunity closed.

Challenge: 50 posts, strong view targets, tight seasonal window — and a product that needed to feel like a summer essential, not a sponsored placement.

APPROACH

ACC identified that the product needed to live inside real summer moments, not be presented as a standalone device. Creator selection was built around five content roles — lifestyle, home decor, DIY, patio, and family — chosen for environment fit, not follower count.

SOLUTION

A scene-first creative system where every creator was briefed to place the product inside a recognisable summer moment: backyard projects, patio hosting, home renovation, family outdoor routines. Specs followed the scene — never led it.

OUTCOME

53 posts delivered against a 50-post target. 8.5M total views against a 7.55M target. Multiple standout posts outperformed creators' own organic averages by up to 350% — the clearest signal that creative direction, not just media spend, drove performance.

3

Directed for story, not spec.

Every brief led with a recognisable pain point or summer moment. Product features followed naturally. This structure is why standout posts beat creators' own organic benchmarks by up to 350%.

2

Prioritised environment over audience size.

Creators were selected because their existing content — hot backyards, renovation scenes, patio hosting, family outdoor life — already created natural product demand. The product entered scenes where audiences already wanted a solution.

1

Built a creator system,
not a creator list.

Five distinct content roles were defined before a single creator was contacted — each mapped to a specific summer occasion and audience environment. This prevented the campaign from becoming a generic product placement and gave each piece of content a specific job to do.

ACC's creator campaign team had an initial shortlist ready within 48 hours of kickoff and began outreach on day three. Daily progress updates and 12-hour response turnarounds kept creators and client aligned throughout.

The most important result was not total views. It was that multiple branded posts outperformed creators' own organic benchmarks by up to 350%. Branded content, when built around the right scene and the right creator, can perform above organic. That is ACC's standard for influencer marketing campaign execution.
